A Sense of Belonging
Visitors born between the 50s and 80s would linger among familiar childhood items — simple in layout, rich in memories. Entrance was RM5 for adults and RM3 for children, open 9 am to 6 pm.
The Time Tunnel Cafe
Right beside the museum, Mr & Mrs Khoo served famous strawberry ice-cream cake, strawberry-flavoured coffee, strawberry jam and butter toast with fresh strawberries, cheese toast and strawberry lassi.
A Record of Highland Memory
What made the Time Tunnel matter was not the artifacts themselves but the story they told together — how tea, vegetables and hill-station life shaped modern Cameron Highlands. For many Malaysian families it doubled as a bridge between generations, grandparents narrating objects their grandchildren had never seen.

Though the museum is gone, its spirit lingers around Brinchang — the neighbouring Kok Lim Strawberry Farm area, the old shophouses and the town’s vintage cafes still offer glimpses of the highlands’ slower past. Check locally before visiting, as attractions in this area continue to evolve.
Though the Time Tunnel has closed its doors for good, its walk through Malaysian nostalgia remains a fond memory for the tens of thousands who visited — a little museum that gave Cameron Highlands its sense of history.
