It is hard not to spot Kavy Hotel Boutique in the new town of Brinchang (formerly in Tanah Rata) especially with the RM88 nett right below its board. Even though it is located in a row of shop lots in Brinchang point, guests must have noticed that the owner spent massive amount of money to renovate the exterior in order to keep the Tudor-style façade since travelers are often attracted to hotels with such theme.

The reception area is rather spacious considering it is only a shop lot and not a luxury hotel. And it seems that not only they keep the exterior with Tudor theme but the décor at the reception area is also based on Tudor theme. And of course similar to any other hotels in Cameron Highlands, the rates vary depending on season. But according to the brochure, there are two rates – low season and peak season.

Guests can choose to stay in standard single, boutique standard, boutique room and super twin. The rates start from RM88 (as stated in the board) and above. You can expect some pretty basic amenities such as hot showers, multi-channel TV and coffee and tea making facilities. In terms of location, the hotel is located pretty close to the famous night market and steamboat restaurants. The only problem is finding a parking spot. But then again, this problem occurs to guests who stay in hotels that are located in shop lots. Since the parking spaces are public, I guess you’ll have to wait or park further away from your accommodation.
