About Rose Valley

A peaceful highland rose garden perfect for families, couples and photography enthusiasts.

The Garden

Rose Valley Cameron Highlands is a cultivated flower garden set in the cool highland climate that allows roses and other ornamental blooms to flourish year-round. The garden features both climbing and bush rose varieties alongside highland ornamental plants.

The cool highland air produces roses with deep, rich colours and a fragrance that is stronger than lowland blooms. The garden setting makes it a popular destination for photography, family outings and romantic visits.

What to See & Do

Beyond the roses, the garden typically includes a range of ornamental highland plants, strawberry plants and flower-themed gift items. A cafe or refreshment area within or near the garden allows visitors to relax with highland tea among the blooms.

Photography is excellent here — colourful rose rows in the foreground with highland mist and green hills behind make for distinctive Cameron Highlands images.

Best Photography Time

Morning (8–10am) when dew is still on the petals and light is soft. Overcast days produce even, flattering light for flower photography.

Entry Fee

A modest entry fee applies. Check current prices at the gate — fees support garden maintenance and flower replanting.

Combine with Lavender Garden

Rose Valley and Cameron Lavender Garden are both flower attraction destinations. Visiting both on the same day makes a complete highland flower experience.

The Vase with a height of 16 feet, this is the biggest flower vase in Malaysia and one of the biggest in the Asean region. It has the capacity to fill 250 dozen roses.

The myth of the Mermaid goes like this.

The Mermaid used to live happily in the sea with her family until one day, she saw a handsome prince on a ship. She knew that unless she becomes a human being, she could not get close to him and thus she decided to seek help from a witch who agreed to give her some magic spell. Upon taking the spel, she became a beautiful lady but her happiness was short-lived as the prince did not love her at all. Felling sad and disappointed she wanted to return to the sea but could not, due to the spell. She vanished into thin air and till today, her disappearence remains a mystery.
