The one and only largest indoor maze in the country! But first things first, to get to the apiary, one must drive slightly further ahead of Kea Farm as this top attraction is located approximately five kilometers from Brinchang town centre. The apiary is open daily from 8 am to 7 pm. All visitors can get in free to the bee farm. As you ascend down the stairs to get to the beautiful garden, visitors will find some old bee processing units.

You’ll see more than just bee boxes in the beautifully landscape garden service and blooming flowers. As you stroll through the captivating garden, you’ll see a pond with plenty of Japanese koi fish. Besides, visitors will also find plenty of cute bee statues within the vicinity. So, take your time to relax and unwind in the tranquil garden with your loved ones. Now save your breath because right after a tour around the garden, you’ll need to climb up the stairs and pay RM3 to enter the largest indoor maze in Malaysia.

It will your very first experience to walk through the confusing paths in an indoor maze. Without a clear concept and no sense of direction at all, You’ll be  confused and soon lost within the huge maze. The attraction is called a bee maze because of the white corridors that’ll guide you to the exit. It got darker as you explore further into the maze. Scaring you out of your wits! Exchange a free gift at the counter once you made your way out of the maze.

Bee products and souvenirs

After strolling around the garden and making your way out of the confusing maze, it is time to get some mementoes and bee products at the souvenir corner. Before you even browse at the shelves, get a small cup of honey bee drink for free from the friendly staffs there! Then, progress to the shelves to purchase their in-house honey products such as pure honey, propolis, royal jelly and bee pollen. With their motto, ‘We believe in natural and purity’, you can expect the finest quality of honey products. The gift pack (RM38) is the perfect souvenir for your loved ones at home because there are four different bottles of honey in the packing (pure honey, propolis, royal jelly and bee pollen).

Other facilities within the bee farm are two open-air cafeterias serving a wide variety of delicious titbits and toilet. Here’s something you might not know – pay RM0.30 to enter the toilet and all the proceeds would be donated to World Vision. All in all, this is one of the best attractions in the hilly cool mountain because children can learn a lot about bees while having a great time exploring the largest indoor maze. Since the bees are under tight control, parents need not worry about their child’s safety as the bees would not simply sting visitors.
