Re:Do u know Tan's Camellia Garden? - 2007/10/21 03:57 hey ya...i like their service very much. I bought some cut anthuriums,the ladies slipper orchid & some camellia plants. I once have problem with my camellia plants because the bulb used to dried up.So i gave the owner Mr Tan a call, he patiently teach me what to do to "rescue" my plant & teach me how to put fertiliser & how to water the plant. Very nice guy....

Re:Do u know Tan's Camellia Garden? - 2007/10/21 22:28 Well, i feel that why the garden have so little publicity is because they are more to artistic than commercial. They cater the needs of customer who genuiely looking for plants & know how to appreciate landscape design instead of a whole bunch of tourist who visit just to take some photo with those man made scenery. You get what i mean?
By the way i get to know this garden from newspaper few years back. Their articles came out on Sin Chew Jit Poh, Nanyang,China press & the sun before.

Re:Do u know Tan's Camellia Garden? - 2007/10/21 22:35 This garden is kind of special as you can find a lot of weird plants & herbs that u never seen before.
I was amused. The lady owner also share with us how the herbs works. I was fascinated with a kind of fruit call "buddha's hand" which can cure asthma. They also have a kind of lime size guava call" strawberry guava".
Guess what, they have lemon as big as a small papaya!

Re:Do u know Tan's Camellia Garden? - 2007/10/21 23:33 Everytime during my visit i will buy a camellia there.They have so many variety of camellia there.
I love camellia very much.
Many people say that plants wont grow well in lowland but i totally disagree. Many plants especially camellias are very easy to take care, i dont have any problem at all.As long as enough water(not too much) & shades,plants are easy to grow.
Now the camellias are blossoming all over my house in Johor.:)
