Instead of relying noxious chemical fertilizers to provide nutrients to the soil and kill insects, organic farming resorts to chicken droppings and mixes it with other natural resources to be used as fertilizer. Since no pesticide is used in organic farming, the farmers use pheromones to trap and attract insect predators (for breeding). Other methods used in organic farming include crop rotation.

Lee advised consumers to think twice when it comes to purchasing organic vegetables. It is best to purchase organically grown vegetables from shops that sell only organic vegetables instead of those readily available in hypermarket.
