Chances are you have heard about Boh tea plantations in Cameron Highlands.
But what about Bharat tea plantations? If you want to avoid the crowd in Boh tea plantation yet would like to visit the green carpet in Cameron Highlands, hesitate no more because Bharat Tea Valley is highly recommended for those who appreciate scenic panoramic view of tea bushes. The plantations are located along the stretch of Tapah and Simpang Pulai route. Ideally located along the main road of Cameron Highlands, visitors need not drive up winding and narrow slopes to enjoy the panoramic view of lush tea bushes.

History back to 1930s

Established in 1930s, the plantation has expanded over the years and to diversify their business, they have set up several tea shops to sell their own tea products. Packaged in boxes, you’ll be surprised to find that they offered different types of tea products such as strawberry-flavoured tea, orange-flavoured tea and peppermint-flavoured tea. While enjoying a cup of tea at Bharat tea centre overlooking charming view of plantations, you’ll be presented with videos regarding Bharat and the tea production process.

Well, fret not if you have no time to pay a visit to these Bharat tea centre and tea shops because you can always do some last minute shopping at the retail shop located along the main road of Tanah Rata. So remember to grab some Bharat tea products before you leave the hilly mountains because these are indeed some of the best souvenirs for your family and friends.
